The short version: share your own real experience, be kind, keep it private and keep it honest. Stories are personal experiences, not financial advice, and anyone who acts on one does so at their own risk.

1. What the community is for

The Cashflow community is a place for members to share what they have learned about managing money: what they did wrong, what worked, and tips they would pass on. Seeing how real people handle rent, debt, groceries, saving and everything in between can help everyone make better choices.

2. Stories are personal, not advice

3. What to share

Share only what you have actually lived. Honest, specific stories help most. You are welcome to describe amounts in rounded figures, percentages or ranges.

4. What not to share

Please do not post:

5. Keeping yourself safe

6. Reporting, blocking and removing

7. How we moderate

We review reported stories and aim to act on them within 24 hours. A moderator may restore a story, or remove it if it breaks these guidelines or our Terms of Service. We may also remove content we find ourselves, and we may suspend members who repeatedly or seriously break the rules. Suspended members can still read the community and use the rest of the app, but cannot post, react or report.

Removed stories remain visible to their author with a note explaining that they were removed. If you think we got it wrong, email us and we will take another look.

8. Contact us

To report a serious problem, ask for a story to be removed, or appeal a decision, contact us at [email protected].
